We are a 135 year old congregation which worships in the Lutheran tradition of the East Central Synod of Wisconsin (E.C.S.W.) of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (E.L.C.A). Our members consist of a wonderful variety of young people of all ages who love their Lord Jesus Christ and also have a heart for helping our neighbors. On behalf of these people of St. John’s Lutheran church of Morgan I would like to welcome you to our website. We are glad to have this opportunity to share our community of faith with you and we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to spend some time with us in worship and/or during one of our many activities. We want you to know that there is “always a place for you here at St. John’s of Morgan.” Join us when and however you can for worship as we rejoice in God’s blessings and nourished through God’s means of grace.
Our core values are reflected in the following statements:
- We are a people growing together who are followers of Jesus Christ.
- We accept the Holy Bible as the source and norm of our life together.
- We welcome all people to practice the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion with us as a means of God’s grace.
- We rejoice as part of the body of Christ on earth made up of all people who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
- We believe that all people are made right with God, not through our own efforts, but only by God’s grace, through faith.
- So together we rejoice and proclaim God’s Good News by emphasizing salvation through faith and teaching the freedom of Christian love.
So come as you are and join us in our conversations about God and daily living. Again thank you for visiting with us today – please feel free to contact me at any time with your inquiries. May God continue to bless you and keep you safe in whatever you are doing.
